How do I discipline my kids to teach them godly values?
Throughout my 25 years of parenting, I've learned how important it is to discipline kids and teach them values while they're young. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says:
5 Steps to Disciplining Children
Raise Kids that Love God and Respect You
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up."

WORDS [Talk about it]
When your child is upset or disobedient, talk about it! Ask them what the problem is and get the whole picture. Don't make snap judgments.

EVALUATE [Is your child's attitude wrong?]
If your child refuses to change you must evaluate further. Is he/she sick, tired, hungry, bored, hurt or willfully disobedient? Before you proceed with discipline take time to understand where your child is coming from. Is the disobedience stemming from a wrong attitude or another problem outside of the child's control?

LOVE [Teach them love for the house of God]
One of the best ways to show your child love and teach them godly values is to let God cultivate a love for His house within them. You can do this by making sure they never miss church, making Sunday a fun family day and serving together as a family.
Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)--- "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."
